High grade stones from this mine are very hard & highly collectible, coming in shades of light to dark blue, as well as a full range of deep mossy greens. Blending of the blues & greens with mottled matrix gives it a distinctive look. It often comes with deep red or golden brown matrix, adding to the overall appeal of these stunning stones. This mining district is still producing turquoise.
